WHAT: Holy smokes, R.C. #1,000 is upon us! Let’s get together for a casual evening of eating, drinking and hanging the hell out…

WHERE: The event will be held at Fairlie, the brand new event space being *generously* donated by ex-clubbers Alexis & Jeff!

FOOD: As for dinner and dessert, we’ll enjoy catering from Honey Butter Fried Chicken, an R.C. selection from Year 14, but also one that’s run by the purveyors of Sunday Dinner Club, which we chose as our favorite dining experience of Year 7! But what / how much I order will depend on your RSVP’s. And though I can’t yet say what the exact cost will be per person / kid, assume it will be a little pricier than eating there in person, but still reasonable. I’ll try to post more specifics once I get an idea as to how many of you can make this…

DRINKS: If you’re interested in wine, drinkin’ beers, pop and/or juice, let’s call it BYOB. However, we’ll supply free water, as well as a couple unique cocktails and a sixtel of fancy after-dinner beer, both of which will cost a little extra if you decide to partake.

RSVP’ING / KIDS: In order to allow me enough time to place our food order, please RSVP by noon on Thursday. When doing so, please be sure to designate any kids who will be eating H.B.F.C. But please try to avoid RSVP’ing for the same person more than once. Also, it may be a good idea to bring some activities for the kids, as there aren’t plan to have anything like that on-hand.

PARKING: There is a gravel parking lot directly across the street where y’all can park. Fairlie is located right where the street dead ends.

CLEAN-UP / QUESTIONS: Lastly, although I don’t anticipate a ton of clean-up, we do want to leave the space just as we found it. So if anyone’s able to stay a bit afterwards to help with that, we’d appreciate it. I think that’s it for now, but if you have any questions, please post them here and we’ll answer them publicly. I hope a number of you can make it… Let’s do this!

P.S. If anyone feels like we should be celebrating this milestone with an event above and beyond this one – perhaps something more involved, more expensive and/or more adult-oriented – I’d be down for that as well. I would just need your help in organizing… Let me know!
